We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work on full-time basis at our office at Barking.

Location: 56 Glenny House, Suite 14, (Stewart House), Barking, Greater London, England, IG11 8RT

Position: Office Manager

Job type: Full-time permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the office, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities;
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences for clients and staff members;
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock levels;
  • Assist in organizing company events, team-building activities, and employee recognition programmes;
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and phone calls;
  • Identify and address operational challenges, make decisions, and find solutions quickly and effectively;
  • Ensure the clients are receiving the services at high standard and all the tasks are delivered to clients within the contracted timeframe;
  • Respond to the client’s queries, complaints and suggestions at the earliest possible time and must be within the contracted (if any) timeframe;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as all other legal requirements;
  • Provide regular reports to company director with insights and recommendations for improvement;
  • Proactively identify opportunities and implement efficient office procedures;
  • Monitor and support other staff members with administrative tasks, including data entry, report generation, and document preparation;
  • Ensure the company’s marketing events and materials are up-to-date and at high standard;
  • Maintain office filing systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration/ Law/ Accounting;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively;
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and office management software;
  • Proficiency in overseeing day-to-day office operations;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously;
  • Previous experience in office management or administrative role is preferred.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Salary:  £25,000.00 – £28,000.00 per annum
